The "lawer" who answered me was courteous and looked serious.
I do not understand what they are trying to obtain.
Maybe we should all report them to the police or other law enforcement agencies.

I received an e mail from the same "Li-ars," not lawyers on a similar date. I reported them to alot of government institutions including the UK. I think all of us should report them to

Don't fall for this SCAM. Similar to Nigerian SCAM Letters. Yes, Mr. Engr. Jurgen had alot of friends who might help someone else get rich on your bank account etc. You risk personal information! REPORT THEM PLEASE TO HELP OTHERS NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM or JOKE.

Also got this, a while ago, and am contacted newly by now. What they want is - similar to those people from the African connexions - the moment you want to sign and get the funds they come up with some "administrative fees" or a sum to be paid (BY you) in order "to release the fund". And they add that it's forbidden by law to draft the required sum (can be several thousands) from the funds itself.

I too got this same e-mail today 10-22-08. I e-mailed this guy bakc telling him that this whole thing is a JOKE! I know no one by that name, and also that he is from England and i live in Wisconsin. Come on.... the more i think about this the more it sounds just stupid!!

I have received three of the same except from South Africa. The last was 11-25-2008. They asked for a reply and I did. I told them there was no way someone from another continant would will me anything and especialy notwagma thirty million, one hundred thousand $'s. I guess some folks have to create jobs but this is rediculess. Ha ha the joke isn't on me !!!!!! Richard

I've received different variations of these emails over the last year or so. It's not hard to figure out that this is one unbelievably, ridiculous scam - the horrific grammar and elementary sentence structure was my first tip-off - any lawyer handling 30 million dollar wills wouldn't have such terrible communication skills. While doing some research for a geography course on the CIA world factbook website, I came across a something that may be helpful for those wishing to report attempted scams such as these:

Instead of using the reply button on the email, they typed a new subject-
" Responding to your email". It went on to ask for all types of verification. The things in these are oh so wrong. I am studying law and work for an attorney...he's gonna luv this!!! When it comes to beneficiaries, the law is clear as to notification. Any lawyer worth his degree wouldn't email an "unknown heir", and certainly would proof read. As far as the so-called "letters of administration", how are you supposed to get them, go to London? You're supposed to be present in the court house with the representing attorney, and verification of your identity. as with anything legal, things are NEVER that simple!! DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!!!!! My boss loves to sue people. I'm printing the email, and giving it to him tomorrow!

This is really going on too long. It has now stretched out for almost a year. What is sad is I have recieved this email 5 times all from the same benificiary but from different lawyers from all over Europe. Please if whoever is sending these out....stop sending them to me.

Here's the message I sent back to them after getting 2 different "This is my third and final email" emails from 2 different people with the same message in the body:
Hey, here's an idea, next time you try to send a phishing email to someone to scam them out of their personal info try sending it to a real personal email address instead of a TEAM EMAIL ADDRESS.
Stop spamming us, find some legitimate way to make money or at least do a little bit more work on your spelling and researching of possible targets for your fraud.

Welcome to the club...I recieved one from James Hurd,esq.Before that it was Cathy Meirs,esq. I responded telling them that they should KNOW this information without me giving it & ANYONE can type the letters 'esq' after any name. They tried to tell me that they had tried to previously contact me & that this was their 'last' try before time ran out. This e-mail was exactly like everyone else's, just different names...I'm in Florida.I'm calling the authorities in on this crap! We HAVE to start making laws to address all of these scammers!

i cant believe you have to ask what they are after,they will ask you for money to have fed ex documents mailed to you, like 500.00 they will ask for your bank number and take every penny that you have, they want your info so thay can commit crimes in your name, ever hear of identity fraud?

Honestly, if they had any real intelligence the internet would be a truley terrifying place... If they ever work out that following the real decorum and privacy restrictions that would be expected from a barrister tracing down a will recipient would be more believable, there would be a lot more people falling for these scams...
I received this one today... YAY! I must have received nearly all of them by now I reckon, LoL...
I do find these scams amusing nowadays as my "Ex" fell for the first one he ever received (many many years ago), mentioned it to me and even after I advised him that it sounded dodgy, he went ahead and handed over all of his details un-known to me... Well within 3 days he ended up in tears - terrified but preparing to take himself to the police station to hand himself over for attempted fraud... I finally did a few searches and uncovered the world of Nigerian email scams (that weren't that common knowledge back then)...
Lessoned learnt I must say, HAHAHA... My rule of thumb - "if there is a dollar value in the email, and it was an unexpected email, leave it alone, don't reply just hit delete!"
Still not sure whether reporting is going to make a difference, there are so many people desperate enough to send these scams around, it's quite sad really... I don't think they could ever really police it properly, but maybe there should be a well known, international "common" website that can clear up confused individuals, or maybe some form of government advertising for sites like this :)

I also have received many solixitations from these idiots regarding the "Late Jurgen Kruger" and his $30 million. I like to play the game for awhile and lead them along until they demand money and then drop the "f-bomb" on them and forward it to the FBI Cybercrime - although I doubt the FBI does anything. Unless you are a sophisticated player then just ignore and delete these scams. The biggest offender is e-mail from SIFY.COM which is an unsupervised e-mail spam server in Nigeria so any mail from SIFY is a scam without exception. There are a large group of us who scambait these a-holes to keep them frustrated in an effort to make a difference and reduce victimization BUT do not play these guys unless you know the rules of engagement and take serious precautions because there are instances of retaliation. For my ScamBAiter friends - Keep Up The Good Fight and maybe we will either see these jerks go to prison or give up and get a job.

oh these email scamms are just too much..but basically they are harmless as long as you are not naive or money greedy...cause it's not like they are attacking you via computer viruses..they are just emailing you..and all you have to do is to ignore them..or delete them...and that is it...I mean I wish we could lock this scammers up in jail and forget the keys..but that is not likely to happen..so for your own good jzst ignore the emails...

I have just recieved this e mail and I didn't think it was genuine so I thought I would search the name on Google. I found this website, so it obviously is someone trying to con us all.
Maybee we should all report them to the police to stop this from happening again because someone might end up contacting these people and then they could end up in danger of losing all their money or something.

At the end of 2010 this scam mail seems to circulate the globe still. Even here in South Africa. Thanks for scam detectors like these. In RSA this ammount would sure mean alot, but reality; common cense and "being a little wake up" sure helps alot aswell.
